Bleeding Heart
Long blooming bleeding heart with tight clustered flower buds. Long in bloom, with more defined, fully formed pink hearts, held in tighter clusters. Rosettes of parsley-like, bluish green foliage frame the pink clusters that grow up to 12″ tall. Plants thrive in areas with cool nights and low humidity and combine nicely with ferns and hellebores. Its habit is spreading, filling in large plantings nicely. It is unappetizing to nibbling creatures (it is toxic), the foliage remains fresh and full suitable for containers as well, neat and compact.
